Your Kindness Corner's Community Guidelines
Every day, the Your Kindness Corner community, including all members and support staff, works together to make Your Kindness Corner the safest community for kindness enthusiasts.
These community guidelines are meant to help us on our collective journey of pushing kindness forward and illuminating the passions, stories, people, and perspectives behind each member.
Your Kindness Corner is a place to share, get inspired, and to connect with people who share your passions and interests. We are committed to creating a safe space for everyone and have established Community Guidelines that prioritize safety, diversity, and inclusion.
We update our Community Guidelines from time to time, to adjust for new behaviors and risks, as part of our commitment to keeping Your Kindness Corner a safe place for everyone to come together, interact and share ideas.
Our Community Guidelines apply to everyone on Your Kindness Corner. We proactively enforce them using a mix of technology and human moderation before content gets reported to us. We also encourage our members to use the tools we provide to report any content they believe violates our Community Guidelines.
At Your Kindness Corner, we take our Community Guidelines very seriously, as this is an inclusive community where everyone should be able to express themselves in a positive way. We will remove any content – including video, audio, livestream, images, posts, comments, and text – that violates our Community Guidelines. We will suspend or ban members and/or devices that are involved in severe or repeated violations.
We recognize that some content that would normally be removed per our Community Guidelines could be in the public interest. Therefore, we may allow exceptions under certain circumstances, such as educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content, satirical content, content in fictional settings, counter speech, and content in the public interest that is newsworthy or otherwise enables individual expression on topics of social importance.
Participating in the Your Kindness Corner community.
● Respect your fellow Your Kindness Corner members. Act with care and patience for your fellow
community members. Remember that we are all here to share and appreciate ideas, stories and passions. This includes everyone on Your Kindness Corner––whether they’re new to the community, a staff member, or someone who has been here since day one.
● Be constructive with your critiques, comments, and feedback. If someone has asked for feedback or help, put yourself in their shoes. Aim to be clear, constructive, and specific. Approach with kindness!
● Connect like a human, not like a robot. Act genuinely and thoughtfully when you’re engaging with your fellow Your Kindness Corner members. Behaviors like mass-faveing, participating in a group without reading its rules, or copying, pasting, and posting the same comment on multiple photos may come off as disingenuous.
● Be thoughtful about how you use the tools and services that Your Kindness Corner provides. Tend to any groups or forums that you admin. Don’t use Your Kindness Corner to spam others or to host illegal content, including but not limited to drug use, CSAM, and others. Use the tools on Your Kindness Corner constructively or you risk losing access to certain tools, privileges, or your account altogether.
● Know that there are some behaviors that we simply won’t tolerate. Don’t use hate speech, threaten another member’s safety or privacy, harass anyone or post any content deemed inappropriate to our community standards. Comments or activity that take space from the intended audience will not be allowed.
Respecting All Interests
● Respect all interests and passions. If you share an interest, post a reaction or share a positive comment! Remember that Your Kindness Corner is a diverse community made up of people with different interests, perspectives, and identities. Respect all genres of interests and passions!
Reporting
● Each element of Your Kindness Corner’s community features provides a report function, whether it is a post, member profile, group, forum, etc. Just click on report, choose violation, add further details and submit.

Enforcement.
● Your Kindness Corner’s community guidelines are enforced and upheld by Your Kindness Corner moderators and the Your Kindness Corner community. Automatic moderation removes many categories of violations automatically including profanity.
● In most cases, when a community member violates a community guideline, the content will be hidden for review and the member, group or forum will receive notification of the concern reported. We’ll be clear about the infraction, the applicable guideline, and the potential consequences. However, in cases where behavior seems irredeemable, we may not.
● Consequences may start with a reminder of the community guidelines but can also result in the removal of content, loss of certain account privileges or access to certain tools, or being removed and banned from Your Kindness Corner altogether.
