Rather than waiting for large systems to change, founder Geri Ann Hughson chose to act. Guided by faith and the conviction that small acts of kindness can create lasting impact, FreeHelpCK was born from a simple but powerful realization: We may not fix everything — but we can step in and help. 🧡 Who They Serve FreeHelpCK supports seniors, youth, families, and individuals across Chatham-Kent. Their programs are: Free Accessible Barrier-free By restocking nine community food pantries twice weekly, delivering senior meals three times per week, and supporting students and families throughout the year, they provide more than food or clothing — they restore dignity and hope. 👗 Current Focus: Prom & Grad Program Right now, FreeHelpCK is preparing for one of the most meaningful milestones in a young person’s life. Through their Prom & Grad Program, youth can receive dresses, suits, shoes, jewelry, and accessories at no cost — ensuring they can attend their special day with confidence and pride.
