Summer camp

During high school, I spent my summers working at local camps, where my goal was to give kids a memorable experience and be a positive role model. There were countless times when kids would show up on Monday not wanting to be there, wishing they were at home instead. But by the end of the week, they’d be telling us it was the most fun they’d had all summer and that they were going to miss the camp staff and all the friends they’d made.
